Mahmoud Farazandeh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Germany, has held talks with Andreas Pinkwart, the State Minister for Economic Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, during a visit to the German state. In the visit, the Iranian diplomat also met a group of Iranian economic activists residing in the city of Düsseldorf and nearby areas. Among the most pressing issues discussed in this trip were the problems of Iranian companies and economic institutes as well as ways to develop bilateral relations. Farazandeh also attended the opening ceremony of an exhibition of works by renowned German artist Günther Uecker, entitled "Homage to Hafez", and visited a joint exhibition of works by Uecker and eight Iranian artists.
